HR / Consulting: The Grant Alexander Group acquires the Swiss firm Futura21

Thanks to this rapprochement, Grant Alexander confirms its external growth strategy and its desire to develop internationally

Paris, April 23, 2024 – Partner of the performance of organizations and leaders, the independent French group Grant Alexander announces having acquired Futura21, a leading player in the HR consulting market in Switzerland. Equipped with three offices in Geneva, Lausanne, and Fribourg, the firm, founded in 2012 by Chantal Marino, supports the development of organizations through an offering in consulting and training in change management, organizational management, assessment, coaching and mentoring of leaders, professional transition, and mobility. This operation in Switzerland will allow Grant Alexander to consolidate its international development and aim for growth for the group of 20% of its revenue by the end of 2025.

SWITZERLAND, A HIGH-POTENTIAL MARKET FOR GRANT ALEXANDER

A historic player in France for over 30 years, Grant Alexander accelerates its development with this external growth operation. The group, expert in HR consulting, thus acquires Futura21, one of the must-have players in the field in French-speaking Switzerland. The firm has been supporting, for about twelve years, private and public organizations with a presence notably in the finance, luxury, high-tech, and pharma-biotech sectors. Created and led by Chantal Marino in 2012, previously HR Director in international companies for fifteen years, the firm relies on a team of 10 consultants and recorded in 2023 a turnover of over 2 million CHF.

The staff of Futura21 thus strengthens the team of consultants / executive coaches of Anne-Laure Pams, Director of the Leadership Development division. The group’s headhunting and transition management offerings will, for their part, be deployed in Switzerland as in France, under the Grant Alexander brand.

Thanks to this rapprochement, the group will now be present in Switzerland and intends to develop this anchoring with the upcoming opening of an office in Zurich, which will allow it to support organizations closely in German-speaking Switzerland. A perspective that will support Grant Alexander’s growth strategy, which plans a 20% increase in revenue by the end of 2025.

A NEW MOMENTUM TO SUPPORT THE DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY

Sharing with Grant Alexander the same values of proximity and rigor in the service of operational excellence, this acquisition of Futura21 gives the group more substance to its international ambitions, while allowing the Swiss firm to broaden its offering.

“This rapprochement with Futura21 is for us obvious as our two organizations have in common, whether in terms of expertise, values, and market vision. We are convinced that it will allow the birth of fantastic synergies between our two structures, and this in the service of the performance of organizations and their leaders,” comments Henri Vidalinc, President of Grant Alexander.

“We are very happy to join the Grant Alexander group and to allow the companies and executive leaders we support to benefit from the expertise of a leading multi-specialist player, and thus from an enriched offering in HR services, with direct approach recruitment and transition management. Our international opening will very quickly allow us to conquer new markets, from our existing offices and soon in German-speaking Switzerland,” declares Chantal Marino, Founder of Futura21.

For more than 30 years, Grant Alexander has been the partner of the performance of organizations and their leaders, whom it supports globally in all their needs in management and development of skills, with a solution always tailored. Multi-specialist group in HR consulting and services, with 4 activities (Executive Search, Executive Interim, Leadership Development, Transformation Advisory), it operates in all sectors, in all functions (leaders / experts / rare profiles), worldwide.
