What personal data do we collect and how is it processed ?
We only collect the data strictly necessary to fulfil the purposes of our support services (executive search, interim management, coaching, assessment, outplacement, etc.) for our clients — businesses and institutions — in compliance with regulations, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), effective since 25 May 2018.
The collection and processing of personal data is based on the following legal grounds:
– Performance of a contract: we collect and process personal data to meet contractual obligations agreed with our partners.
– Legitimate interest: the collection is necessary for pursuing a legitimate interest, namely the delivery of the services entrusted to us by our clients.
– Consent: the collection and processing of your personal data via our website or forms requires your explicit consent.
The personal data we collect and process may originate from:
– Candidates who send us their CV and share their career goals.
– Clients who entrust us with assignments.
– Job boards, CV databases, professional directories, and social networks enabling us to identify and approach potential candidates.
– Partners providing search, assessment and IT services.
– Visitors to our website.
We do not collect sensitive data as defined under Article 9 of the GDPR, except in specific cases justified by the assignment and with the explicit consent of the data subject.
We use this data solely within the scope of our professional activities. Under no circumstances is it used for purposes unrelated to our work. We only share it with our clients and only with the prior consent of each individual concerned.
How is your personal data processed digitally ?
Personal data collected is subject to digital processing (saving and storage) to ensure optimal security throughout the execution of our assignments.
We do not make decisions based solely on automated processing. We use artificial intelligence tools to enhance the analysis and management of applications and as part of a continuous improvement process for our services.
As members of Syntec Conseil, we are signatories of the Manifesto for the responsible use of AI in consulting firms.
How long do we retain your personal data, and where ?
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to complete the assignments entrusted to us by our clients and to fulfil our role as career advisors to the talents we support.
The data entrusted to us is stored within the European Union. The only cases in which data may be transferred outside the EU are for assignments involving clients located outside this territory. Such transfers only take place with the consent of the individuals concerned.
How do we secure your personal data ?
We implement all necessary technical and organisational measures to ensure the security, confidentiality and integrity of the personal data we process. Our IT partner, based in France, is responsible for implementing and managing IT security measures and supports us in the ongoing development of our information systems. Our teams are regularly trained in cybersecurity best practices.
How can you exercise your rights ?
Any individual — candidate, interim manager, client or contact — whose personal data we hold has the right to access, rectify, delete, restrict, or object to the use of their data, and the right to data portability.
You may exercise your rights by sending a request, including a copy of your ID, by post to: Grant Alexander – 29 rue de Lisbonne 75008 Paris, or by email to: dpo@grantalexander.com.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority: CNIL – 3 place de Fontenoy – TSA 80715 – 75334 Paris Cedex 07.
