Grant Alexander announces the creation of two new practices with the arrival of Claire Le Lem and Brice Malm

Paris, March 31, 2022 – With 19% organic growth, the recruitment of 15 new employees, the opening of its first representative office in Côte d’Ivoire, and a new acquisition, 2021 confirmed the growth trajectory of Grant Alexander. In this dynamic, the group, a partner in organizational and leadership performance for over 30 years, announces the creation of two new practices: Claire Le Lem will lead the Biotechs practice, and Brice Malm will head the Procurement / Supply Chain practice.

CLAIRE LE LEM, DIRECTOR OF THE BIOTECHS PRACTICE

A PhD in Organic Chemistry, Claire Le Lem brings over 20 years of experience in executive recruitment for the chemical, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, and biotech industries. She began her career in the R&D center of a pharmaceutical laboratory before moving into executive search, where she worked with several international firms. After creating her own consulting firm, she joined Morgan Philips Group in 2020 as Senior Consultant in Chemistry / Life Sciences / Biotechs.

She now joins the Lyon-based teams of Grant Alexander to lead the Biotechs practice and strengthen the Life Sciences team alongside Laurent Carcassonne within the group’s Executive Search activity (read the press release).

BRICE MALM, DIRECTOR OF THE PROCUREMENT / SUPPLY CHAIN PRACTICE

A graduate of ESC Pau (2000), with a Master’s in Management and Strategy from École Centrale Paris (2011) and a PhD in Management Sciences from the University of Pau (2018), Brice Malm has joined Grant Alexander in Paris to create and develop the Procurement / Supply Chain practice.

Previously Senior Partner at Michael Page since 2011, where he developed the human capital consulting offer and interim management activity for procurement functions, he had already founded his own consulting, training, and teaching firm in 2008, which he continues to run alongside his professional activities. Before that, he held roles such as Regional Procurement Manager (IDF and South) at Thales, and Commodity Manager at Philips and Valeo.

He is also the author of several publications, including his doctoral thesis (Modeling and Characterization of Procurement Performance in Local Authorities), as well as books such as Procurement Function – Methods and Exercises for Buyers and Procurement Function – Reinventing the Buyer’s Role (both published by EMS). He will leverage his expertise as Director of the Procurement / Supply Chain practice across Grant Alexander’s Executive Interim and Executive Search entities.
